Managing Differences Of Opinion (Fiqh Ikhtilaf)

As Allah’s creations that are blessed with intellect, humankind will definitely have differences of opinion. It is the way we are created, or rather the sunnatullah of creations.

From Discussions and an exchange of opinions will lead to ideas and thus, bring about benefits to us; whether in areas pertaining to the economy, social, intellectual and religion.

The sunnah of differences of opinions can be seen from the example of the companions of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Despite their differences of opinion, they never allowed it to affect their friendship and the love they had for one another.
