~ Friday Sermon Messages - 24 October 2014 ~

Hijrah for the Sake of Allah and Rasulullah – The Story of Suhaib Ar-Rumi r.a.

We are currently at the end of Zulhijjah and today’s Jumu’ah prayer will be the last for the year 1435 Hijrah. In a few more hours, we will usher in the new hijrah year.

In conjunction with the new hijrah year, let us appreciate the lessons behind the migration of a companion, Suhaib bin Sinan Ar-Rumi r.a.

Hopefully, we will be able to gain comprehensive understanding of the concept of migration or hijrah in Islam. May it be beneficial for us to start the coming year.

Khutbah Title: Eiduladha Sermon - Appreciating The Meaning Of Sacrifice. [05 October 2014]

One of the main objectives of performing ibadah Korban is that the act of sacrifice goes beyond our willingness to perform a sacrifice for the sake of Allah. It ?aims to allow us to get used to giving up our personal wants for a bigger and more profound objective with wider implications, as what Allah s.w.t. wants.
