Appreciating The Lessons Behind The Hijrah

This week, let us appreciate and reflect upon the event itself – and that is the migration of Rasulullah s.a.w. Hopefully, we will be able to learn and benefit from the important lessons of the event.

When we appreciate the hijrah of the Prophet s.a.w. we will be able to realise that hijrah does not simply encompass sacrifice, sincerity, resilience, belief and courage; but also has elements of wisdom and the importance of planning and mapping out a strategy.

It also shows his ability to be forward-thinking and to implement long-term plans.
