Appreciating Our Relationship with Life

The past several Fridays, we have been discussing the adab or manners of relationship with Allah’s creations; not just with other humankind, but also the environment and other creatures created by Allah s.w.t.

Today’s khutbah will reflect upon our relationship with another one of Allah’s creations which is life itself.

A mukmin believes that the lifetime that Allah gives him is an opportunity for him to try and do good deeds while on this earth. A mukmin realises that the true value of life is to contribute to others and to do good deeds, bringing about happiness and spreading welfare to all, as well as instilling harmony.
