Core Mosque Activities
The mosque not only serves the religious needs of the community, it also provides other social services. This is in line with the concept of the mosque being a multi-functional institution and its centrality as a prime agency to facilitate the creation of an excellent Muslim Community. 4 core areas form the pillars of the mosque’s activities, namely:

· Information Services and Referrals
Religious Practices Congregational prayers are among the most important activities in the mosque although other devotional activities like reciting the Holy Koran and spiritual introspection are also commonly done in the mosque.
Religious Education
Religious education is critical to the enhancement and strengthening of one’s faith, correct understanding of Islamic teachings and Muslims’ adaptability to practice Islam in a modern and secular state like Singapore.
At the same time, religious education will instill in Muslims universal values, such as honesty, sincerity, diligence, responsibility, tolerance and the love to help others. Towards this end, the mosque provides the following programmes for all levels in various areas:

· Fardhu Ain and Kifayah
· Tahfiz Al-Quran (Memorization of Al-Quran)
· Tafsir and Hadis
· Arabic Language
· Kindergarten and part-time Madrasah
· Haji and Umrah courses
· Lectures and Forum
Family and Youth Development
The family is the most important institution in a society. The strength and the harmony of the Muslim family will contribute towards a compassionate society and in itself, a contributor to the society and the state.
The youth is an asset to the society and the state. They are the torch-bearers for future generation. Guidance development and the inculcation of good values are important factors towards the development of an individual who will lead the society towards a more confident future. Among the activities to achieve the objectives are:
· Family Development courses which are more systematic and structured
· Health Talks, Children Development, Counselling Service and Motivation courses
· Provision of Trained Counsellors to assist families with problems
· Formation of Youth Clubs in each mosque co-ordinated by ‘Young Muslim Secretariat’
· Talks, Excursions cum Social work, Sports and the co-operation with non-Muslim Youth organizations
· To build a lifelong learning and training culture for the development of strong intellect

Information Services and Referrals
As a centre for Muslim community and Islamic missionary, the mosque has undertaken a multi-pronged approach in disseminating information relating to religion, health and other con temporary issues concerning the Muslim public. The initiatives include:
· Appointment of qualified religious teachers to serve as resource persons and to answer religious queries
· To organize exhibitions and open houses
· To put up informational posters, newspaper cuttings and articles
· Dissemination of public education pamphlets, magazines and religious books
· Promote reading and research
