It is estimated that women represent 40% of the total hajjis. Although all sections of the Awareness Program apply to women, however, it was thought that the issues contained in the women special need section are important enough to be put in separate part totally dedicated for women. Some of the information in this section may have been addressed in the health and safety section for additional emphasis.
