Synopsis:This program provides an overview of how the concept of disability was represented in the Islamic tradition. It will also explore how scholars have attempted to reconcile perceptions on disability with the notion of an all merciful God. At the end of the program, participants are able to draw lessons from the Islamic intellectual tradition and apply it to help the people with disabilities lead a dignified life.
