Mosques Offering Jenazah Prayer Services

Mosques can conduct jenazah prayers with the appropriate Safe Management Measures in line with the national advisory for the resumption of more religious activities issued by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).

Safe Management Measures for Jenazah Prayer at the Mosques:

  • Jenazah prayer is limited to a maximum of 30 persons (excluding the imam). The prayer will be conducted outside of congregational prayer timings.
  • TraceTogether SafeEntry is required for all attendees.
  • Masks must be worn at all times, including during prayer.
  • Maintain a 1 metre safe distance during the congregational jenazah prayer.
  • There will be separate entry and exit points for attendees of the jenazah prayer and other mosque congregants.
  • There should be no inter-mingling amongst congregants before or after the prayers are conducted.
