Imagine a world where your ideas can be developed further to make a real difference in your communities. That's exactly what we're aiming for with the ICCOS 2024 Youth Hackathon and World Café!

What's It All About?

We're bringing together passionate youth aged 17 to 35 to tackle real-world problems. It's not just about coming up with ideas – it's about turning them into solutions towards communities of success.

Our Journey

  1. Design Thinking Workshop (7 September)
    We kicked things off with a fun Design Thinking workshop. Here, our young participants learned a step-by-step approach to creative problem-solving, focusing on understanding user needs with deep empathy, brainstorming ideas, and creating simple prototypes to test their solutions.

  2. ICCOS 2024 Youth Hackathon (21-22 September)
    The ICCOS 2024 Youth Hackathon was held on 21-22 September at Google Singapore. For two full days, the participants worked together in teams to develop innovative solutions for community challenges in one of four key focus areas: Social Upliftment and Empowerment, Representative Leadership, Social Cohesion for the Future, or Considerations for the Future: Enterprise, Professionals and Religious Sector.   3. World Café (15 October)
    The World Café activity, which will be held during the ICCOS 2024 event itself, is intended to foster collaborative dialogue through structured small-group discussions, where participants rotate between tables to share and build upon ideas. During this exciting session, young innovators will meet ICCOS participants to exchange insights, gather feedback, and refine their solutions, creating a dynamic environment for innovation and improvement.

The top three teams from the ICCOS 2024 Youth Hackathon will then pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and the ICCOS participants. The judges are looking for solutions that have the potential to make a difference. Here are the cash prizes to be won:

- 1st Prize: $1,000

- 2nd Prize: $800

- 3rd Prize: $500
