Singapore Haj Quota Processed Successfully

13 May 2022

1. As announced earlier, Singapore has been granted with a Haj quota of 407 places for 2022, which is approximately 45 per cent of the previous official quota of 900. The Islamic Council of Singapore (Muis) has successfully processed all 407 places as granted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. All pilgrims have registered with Muis’ appointed haj travel agencies and made payments for their preferred haj packages. Muis is now working to have their Haj visas issued by the Kingdom.

3. Overall, it was a very smooth process in which successful pilgrims were given the haj places in accordance with the conditions and requirements for Haj 2022 as well as the places in the Muis’ Advance Haj Registration System (AHRS).

4. Muis would like to express our deepest appreciation to the prospective pilgrims and the appointed haj travel agencies for working together to make this process completed within a short timeline in a seamless manner. Muis also thanks all pilgrims in the AHRS for their continued patience and understanding, and prays for their smooth journey when their time comes in the coming years.
