What is SalamSG Gives?
SalamSG Gives is a community-oriented initiative under the broader SalamSG Ramadan movement led by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).
It aims to foster the spirit of giving and volunteerism within the Muslim community by organising a range of grounding activities — from food and aid distributions to support for vulnerable households — in the lead-up to and during Ramadan, helping families prepare for the blessed month while strengthening communal bonds. In recent years, the programme has seen increased participation and expanded reach, reflecting a growing emphasis on shared responsibility and compassion across the community.
SalamSG Gives (pre-Ramadan)
SalamSG Gives (pre-Ramadan) focuses on early acts of care and support for the community ahead of Ramadan.
To be launched during the SalamSG Pre-Ramadan Festival, this initiative mobilises volunteers and partners to reach out to beneficiaries through distributions and engagement activities, reflecting the value of Giving as a shared responsibility.

SalamSG Gives (during Ramadan)
Throughout Ramadan, SalamSG Gives continues across participating mosques, supporting beneficiaries through acts of service, time, and resources.
These efforts reinforce the spirit of Giving by ensuring that care and compassion remain central to the Ramadan experience, particularly for those in need.

Service excellence training – mosque frontliners
The Service Excellence Training prepares mosque staff and volunteers to deliver warm, compassionate and consistent services during Ramadan and beyond.
Conducted across all districts, the training equips mosque frontliners with practical skills in hospitality, jemaah care, and crowd management, anchored in the SalamSG values (Gratitude, Graciousnes and Giving). This initiative supports mosques in creating a welcoming and dignified worship experience for all congregants.
