The “Labbaitum" Award, which means "we are at your service" in Arabic, is an annual recognition presented to Haj management organisations worldwide that demonstrate outstanding performance and excellence in serving pilgrims.

Singapore Labbaitum Awards

SPAO has received the following awards in recognition of its commitment to providing quality services and support to Singapore Haj pilgrims.

Labbaitum Bronze Award (2026)

Singapore's Bronze Award recognition for Haj 2026 (1447H).

The Singapore Pilgrims' Affairs Office (SPAO) was conferred the Labbaitum Bronze Award in 2026 (1447H), in recognition of its excellence in serving Singapore Haj pilgrims. The award saw participation from 113 countries worldwide.

Presented by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, His Excellency Dr Tawfiq Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the award recognises SPAO's high standards in pilgrim services, including accommodation, transportation and administrative arrangements. 

This recognition reflects the collective efforts of SPAO and its partners in supporting the welfare of Singapore Haj pilgrims and ensuring a smooth and meaningful Haj experience.

The Singapore Pilgrims’ Affairs Office (SPAO) was awarded the Labbaitum Gold Award recognising its excellence in delivering seamless and meaningful Haj experiences for Singaporean pilgrims.

This accolade highlights SPAO’s holistic approach, which integrates:

1. Digital innovation through the PilgrimSG platform, enhancing real-time assistance and coordination

2. Pilgrims’ well-being via the Get Fit for Haj preparatory program

3. Operational excellence with full compliance to MOHU’s Haj regulations

4. Personalised care ensuring every pilgrim receives dedicated support

Labbaitum Award for Best Office (2023)

In 2023, SPAO was conferred the prestigious Labbaitum Award for Best Office. This was the first time Singapore had received this award. 

Singapore's award was specifically for providing efficient services, as well as quality and creative initiatives to Singaporean pilgrims.

A key feature highlighted was the PilgrimSG mobile application, which offers real-time information, medical consultation bookings, and a "hot button" for immediate assistance, significantly enhancing the pilgrims' experience. 

SPAO was evaluated against 30 other countries' offices in the category for countries with fewer than 3,000 pilgrims.
