(NEW) Mandatory medical health requirements by MOHU
For the upcoming Haj season, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MOHU) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has directed all Haj Affairs Office to ensure compliance with the new medical health requirements.
All prospective pilgrims must obtain a valid Medical Health Certificate confirming that they are medically fit, free from the disqualifying chronic medical conditions and physically capable of performing Haj rituals safely.
These requirements are mandatory for all applicants and serves as a prerequisite for Haj visa issuance by KSA. A Haj visa will not be issued without meeting these requirements.

Haj visa is a legal requirement to perform Haj
MUIS wishes to remind the public that all Haj-related services, including Haj and Haj Badal should be offered only through travel agents approved by MUIS. This is to safeguard the welfare of pilgrims and ensure that all arrangements meet the required standards and regulations. MUIS continues to work closely with its partners to strengthen the governance of such services and will provide further updates once the new Haji Badal framework is finalised.
Applicants are strongly advised not to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the Haj period using invalid visas, such as tourist or visit visas, as this contravenes Saudi regulations and may result in denial of entry or deportation.
MUIS urges all pilgrims to follow only the official channels and timelines established for Haj, to ensure that their pilgrimage is conducted safely, smoothly, and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Issuance of Letter of Offer
Letter of Offer will be issued on 1 December 2025 onwards
The Letter of Offer is a formal invitation to perform Haj. Only applicants who have received their Medical Health Certificate confirming they are medically fit for Haj and have accepted their Letter of Intent through the MyHajSG portal are eligible for this offer.
Selected applicants who will be receiving the Letter of Offer from 1 December 2025 onwards, must purchase their Haj packages from MUIS-appointed travel agents by 15 December 2025.
Before making the purchases, applicants must present the Medical Health Certificates to the travel agents for verification purposes.
MUIS advises pilgrims to verify official Haj Travel Agents
MUIS strongly urges all prospective pilgrims to purchase Haj packages only from Travel Agents officially appointed by MUIS. Engaging with unappointed or unlicensed travel agents may result in invalid travel arrangements, rejection of entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and potential financial loss.
Pilgrims are therefore strongly encouraged to verify the status of Haj Travel Agents through MUIS’s official channels before making any payments or accepting any offers related to Haj travel. This ensures that all pilgrims travel under approved arrangements recognised by both MUIS and the Saudi authorities, safeguarding their welfare and peace of mind throughout the pilgrimage journey.
Appointment exercise for Haj Travel Agents
The appointment exercise for Haj Travel Agents for the 2026 season is currently ongoing. MUIS will announce the list of appointed Haj Travel Agents and the approved Haj packages for Haj 2026 at least one week before the issuance of the Letter of Offer which will commence from 1 December 2025 onwards.
