This programme reinforces Islamic values and builds on students' existing knowledge of Islam. It also provides a platform for students to discuss Islamic perspectives on issues like identity, entertainment, relationships and other relevant areas concerning teens.

Teens Year 1

(13 year olds)

- Understand the purpose of life and the concept of creation

- Seeking help from Allah in dealing with challenging teenage years

- Appreciate the miracles of Gods creations in nature

- Puberty, its challenges and compulsory bath

- Concept of Qadha’ & Qadr

 

 

- Being physically and emotionally healthy

- Showing self-awareness, self-acceptance and esteem

- Being a good role model towards friends and family members

- Morality and a Muslim’s conduct

- Being critical with the media and its usage and guidelines in entertainment

- Knowing the importance of knowledge and striving towards excellence

- Learn from the story of Bilal ibn Rabah r.a.

- The creation of the first man

- The First revelation and Muhammad’s s.a.w. early prophethood

- Brief introduction to Muslim scholars such as Ibn Khaldun, Al-Khawarizmi, Al-Biruni, etc.

- Memorisation and understanding of Surah Al-Infithar

Teens Year 2

(14 year olds)

- Concept of Tauhid, and learn the attributes of Allah s.w.t.

- Concept of Fitrah

- Enjoining good and deterring evil

- Being God-conscious (Taqwa) and obedience in all areas of life

- Solat as an important pillar of Islam

- Islam is Rahmatan Lil’Alamin and concept of charity and volunteering work as Muslims

- Having patience and self-restraint

- Strive to achieve success and stand firm (istiqamah) in Islamic principles

- Having good attributes such as responsibility, patience, empathy, resourcefulness and teamwork as Muslim ambassadors

- Being steadfast and istiqamah to achieve success

- The story of the Prophets s.a.w and their significance such as Nabi Ibrahim a.s.Nabi Musa a.s, Nabi Dawud a.s.
