Islamic Discourse

In the midst of the global transformative shifts, we are ideally positioned to shape the research focus area and offer alternative and visionary narratives of Islamic Thought, Muslim Affairs Management and Religion in the Modern World.

Muis Academy’s Islamic Discourse Framework (DF) for thought leadership aims at deepening the content by engaging experts and scholars to redefine key concepts and terms that offers a more progressive and contemporary philosophy on Islam that anchors the positive role of religion; and developing thought leaders who offer forward-looking and creative solutions and ideas to lead and shape community’s perspectives towards a more progressive understanding of religious life in the modern world, one that focuses on the higher principles of religion and the deeper meaning and significance of our rituals and practice.

Below is an infographic that encapsulates MA's vision and philosophy, the main discourse questions and the key programmes that MA develops to address these questions.
