First: The reception of revelation/divine inspiration (“wahyu”/“ilham”) through the process of spiritual possession (“menurun”)

Surah al-Ma’idah verse 3.

Second: Modifying religious rulings

a) Changes to religious practices

b) Changing the laws of the religion

i. Spiritual marriage (“Nikah batin”)
ii. Addition of unsanctioned rituals

Third: Belief in the hidden meanings of alphabets in the Quran
