This gratitude manifests through takbir and tahmid – our declaration that Allah is the Greatest; that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah; and that all praise belongs solely to Allah s.w.t.

A servant who is truly grateful to Allah will always pursue goodness with consistency and diligence, both within and beyond the month of Ramadan.

The spiritual training we received in Ramadan instils compassion or ihsan and rahmah within us. It reminds us of our dependence on Allah’s help and mercy. We become more aware of our shortcomings and limitations as human beings.
