Aidiladha holds many lessons and wisdoms. Among the events we must reflect upon and draw lessons from is the great test of faith faced by Prophet Ibrahim a.s. when he was commanded by Allah to sacrifice his beloved son Prophet Ismail a.s.

In response to their unwavering faith and conviction, Allah s.w.t. ended the trial by bestowing upon them His unparalleled mercy.

Both Prophets had unwavering faith in Allah s.w.t, firmly believing in His wisdom, mercy, and promise. And true to His word, Allah responded to that conviction: He became for them exactly as they thought of Him — a Lord of wisdom, mercy, and fulfilment.
