Announcement for the month of Syawal 1441H (2020) for Singapore

Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.

According to astronomical calculations, the crescent for the month of Syawal did not appear this evening after sunset as it had set earlier. This signifies that tomorrow will be the end of 30 days of Ramadan.

As such, I am pleased to announce that the first day of Syawal for the year of 1441 Hijrah falls on Sunday, 24 May 2020.

I would like to take this opportunity to seek forgiveness for any shortcomings and wish all Muslims in Singapore: “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri”. May Allah S.W.T. bless us all and accept all your good deeds.
