Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs to visit Brunei Darussalam

The visit aims to strengthen ties and build rapport with Bruneian Ministers and religious leaders.

1. Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs (Ag MMA) and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, Assoc Prof Faishal Ibrahim, will be making an official working visit to Brunei Darussalam from 24 to 25 November 2025. This visit, his first to Brunei in his capacity as Ag MMA, aims to strengthen ties and build rapport with Bruneian Ministers and religious leaders. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS).

2. Assoc Prof Faishal will be meeting the following Bruneian leaders for meaningful exchanges on community and religious affairs.

a. Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Badaruddin Othman

b. State Mufti Pehin Abdul Aziz Juned

c. Minister of Home Affairs Dato Ahmaddin Rahman

3. Assoc Prof Faishal will also visit the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and other institutions such as Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien.
