Announcement for the month of Zulhijjah 1447H/2026 for Singapore

Mufti of Singapore announces that the month of Zulhijjah 1447H/2026 begins on Monday, 18 May 2026.

  1. According to astronomical calculations, the crescent moon of Zulhijjah stayed above Singapore's horizon after sunset this evening. As such, today will be the final day of the month of Zulkaedah.

  2. Therefore, the month of Zulhijjah 1447H will begin on Monday, 18 May 2026. This means Hari Raya Aidiladha will fall on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

  3. Let us fill these sacred and blessed days of Zulhijjah by increasing our acts of worship and good deeds.

  4. We ask Allah s.w.t. to grant all pilgrims safety and a blessed Haj, and may Allah accept all our good deeds and sacrifices for religion, community and nation.
