27 November 2025
MUIS has appointed nine travel agents to provide Haj-related services for all allocated pilgrims for Haj 2026 (1447H). Prospective pilgrims may choose from a total of 25 approved Haj packages.
Issuance of Letter of Offer
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) will be issuing Letters of Offer to 900 prospective pilgrims for Haj 2026 (1447H). All selected pilgrims will be notified via SMS and email starting from 1 December 2025. This notification will provide prospective pilgrims sufficient preparation time for their upcoming pilgrimage.
Upon receiving the notification, prospective pilgrims will need to log in to the MyHajSG portal to retrieve their Letter of Offer. To confirm their place for Haj 2026 (1447H), they must purchase their Haj package from a MUIS-authorised travel agent and fulfil the procedural requirements as set out in the MyHajSG portal by 15 December 2025.
Haj 2026 (1447H) approved travel agents and Haj packages
MUIS has appointed nine travel agents to provide Haj-related services for all allocated pilgrims for Haj 2026 (1447H). Prospective pilgrims may choose from a total of 25 approved Haj packages. The average price for a double-occupancy Haj package is $19,154, an increase of $2,976 compared to last year’s price of $16,178. This price increase is primarily attributed to higher costs for accommodation and Mashaer services1.
All quoted package prices exclude airfare but include Mashaer services, emergency medical assistance appointed by the Association of Muslim Travel Agents Singapore (AMTAS), and mobile medical services in the Holy Lands, provided by the Singapore Pilgrims' Affairs Office (SPAO). The cost of a typical economy seat is up to $3,300 (inclusive of taxes).
Prospective pilgrims are encouraged to purchase additional travel insurance to cover any exigencies beyond the emergency medical assistance’s coverage. Further information on the authorised travel agents and approved Haj packages for 2026 (1447H) can be found at go.gov.sg/haj2026packages.
Prospective pilgrims are advised to evaluate the approved Haj packages based on individual needs and affordability before deciding on their preferred Haj package. They should read and understand the Haj Package Purchase Contract (HPPC) before purchasing their Haj package. Appointed travel agents have been informed to explain the essential content of the contract to the pilgrims.
Submission of Medical Health Certificate
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MOHU) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has issued a new medical health requirement for Haj 2026, which requires all prospective pilgrims to obtain a valid Medical Health Certificate confirming that they are medically fit, free from the disqualifying chronic medical conditions and physically capable of performing Haj rituals safely. Before purchasing the Haj package, prospective pilgrims must present their Medical Health Certificate to the travel agent, to confirm that they are medically fit for Haj. The package cannot be purchased without submitting this certificate.
Important advisory for the general public
MUIS strongly urges the public to avoid engaging with unlicensed or unauthorised agents offering Haj-related services, as this may result in invalid travel arrangements, as well as potential financial loss and deportation.
The public should verify the status of travel agents through MUIS’s official channels before making any payments or accepting Haj-related offers. All Haj services must be provided exclusively by MUIS-authorised travel agents. The public is also strongly advised not to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the Haj period using invalid visas, such as tourist or visit visas, as this violates Saudi regulations and may result in denial of entry or deportation.
For further information or clarification, applicants may visit go.gov.sg/haj2026 or contact the MUIS Haj Office directly at haj@muis.gov.sg or call 6350 5369.
1 Mashaer services refer to the essential on-ground arrangements provided to pilgrims during the peak days of Haj in Mina, Arafah and Muzdalifah, including tents, transport, meals, crowd management, and safety provisions.
