Authorised travel agents and approved packages for Haj 2027 (1448H)
5 November 2026
MUIS appoints 10 authorised travel agents offering 37 packages for Haj 2027 (1448H)
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has appointed 10 authorised travel agents offering 37 approved Haj packages, up from 25 packages last year, giving prospective pilgrims more options for Haj 2027 (1448H).
Letters of Offer
MUIS will issue Letters of Offer to 900 prospective pilgrims for Haj 2027 (1448H). Selected pilgrims will be notified via SMS and email from 16 November 2026 onwards.
Upon receiving the notification, prospective pilgrims should log in to the MyHajSG portal (opens in new tab) to retrieve their Letter of Offer. To confirm their place, they must purchase an approved Haj package from a MUIS-authorised travel agent and complete the required procedures in MyHajSG portal by 30 November 2026.
Haj packages and prices
A total of 37 Haj packages has been approved for 2027, offering a choice of 18, 23, 25 or 28-day stays. Prices across the 37 packages range from $13,864 to $21,199 – depending on the package selected and room occupancy arrangement.
Recognising that some pilgrims may have family, work or personal commitments that make an extended absence challenging, MUIS has included an 18-day package as the shortest available option. This offers greater flexibility for pilgrims to fulfil their religious obligation while balancing their personal responsibilities and circumstances, making Haj more accessible to a wider segment of the community.
For comparison, the average package price is $16,734 for pilgrims sharing a room with three others (quad occupancy), $17,231 for those sharing with two others (triple occupancy), and $18,094 for those sharing with one other pilgrim (double occupancy). Pilgrims can view the full list of authorised travel agents, approved Haj packages and their respective prices at go.gov.sg/haj2027packages (opens in new tab).
The quoted package prices exclude direct airfare on Saudia Airlines and Emergency Medical Assistance (EMA) coverage arranged by AMTAS. A typical economy-class airfare costs $3,300, subject to applicable taxes, and EMA coverage costs $295.
Package prices include Mashaer services and medical services in the Holy Lands provided by the Singapore Pilgrims’ Affairs Office (SPAO). Mashaer services cover essential on-ground arrangements during the peak days of Haj in Arafah and Mina, including tents, transport, meals, crowd management and safety provisions.
Accommodation arrangement
For Haj 2027 (1448H), MUIS and the Association of Muslim Travel Agents Singapore (AMTAS) have agreed for pilgrims across all packages to be accommodated in the same designated hotels. The arrangement is intended to help manage overall package costs and facilitate better coordination of pilgrims’ movements, including travel between Madinah, Makkah and Jeddah.
Travel insurance
Pilgrims are encouraged to consider additional travel insurance, particularly for pre-existing medical conditions and other circumstances that may fall outside the scope of EMA coverage. They may consult their preferred authorised travel agent for further guidance.
Haj package purchase contract
Prospective pilgrims should assess the approved packages based on their individual needs and affordability before making a purchase. They should also read and understand the Haj Package Purchase Contract (HPPC) before committing to a package. Authorised travel agents have been informed to explain the key provisions of the contract to pilgrims.
Unauthorised Haj offers
MUIS strongly urges prospective pilgrims not to engage unauthorised individuals or travel agents offering Haj packages or related services. Haj packages and services for Singapore pilgrims under Singapore’s official Haj arrangements should only be purchased from MUIS-authorised travel agents.
Members of the public should verify a travel agent’s status through MUIS’s official channels before making any payment or commitment. They should also be cautious of offers involving alternative visa arrangements or claims that a Haj visa can be guaranteed outside Singapore’s official Haj arrangements.
Prospective pilgrims are reminded that only a valid Haj visa permits them to perform Haj. They should comply with all visa and entry requirements stipulated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
