These games promote physical wellness and further strengthen the bonds within our community.”
MSG 2026 programme
The comprehensive sports programme saw students compete across multiple disciplines and age groups, promoting holistic development through sports.
This initiative aimed to promote student well-being through structured sports experiences and strengthen character development by cultivating values such as integrity, and collaboration through fair play and teamwork. The games also sought to foster camaraderie within the madrasah community and provide opportunities for students to discover and develop their sporting talents, celebrating their strengths beyond academics.
Isa bin Mohamad Iskandar, a Primary 6 student from Madrasah Irsyad Zuhri Al-Islamiah who won first place for soccer and a head student leader said, “It was a great experience to play soccer for MSG as this is my first time representing my school. I felt happy that we won the tournament. Something that I learnt is that when we play as a team, whenever a player makes a mistake, we will cheer each other up.”
Primary students participated in Futsal and Badminton (Boys), and Netball and Badminton (Girls), whilst secondary students competed in Futsal, Badminton and Archery (Boys), and Netball, Badminton and Archery (Girls). Pre-University students took part in Futsal and Badminton (Boys), and Badminton and Archery (Girls).
