Prayer arrangement for Hari Raya Aidiladha 2026/1447H
20 May 2026
MUIS and mosques encourage congregants with flexibility to opt for the second or third prayer sessions.
Muslims in Singapore will observe Hari Raya Aidiladha on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, corresponding to 10 Zulhijjah 1447H. To facilitate a smooth and meaningful prayer experience for congregants, the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), together with mosques, encourages all congregants with flexibility to attend the second or third prayer session.
Comprehensive prayer arrangements across Singapore
MUIS and mosques have taken comprehensive steps to provide sufficient prayer spaces for the community. Mosques will provide approximately 240,000 prayer spaces across up to three prayer sessions, including dedicated prayer spaces for female congregants. Booking is not required, except for Session 1 at Masjid Darul Ghufran, where congregants can book their places via book.masjids.sg from Friday, 22 May 2026 at 10.00am. Congregants attending Masjid Darul Ghufran are highly encouraged to consider its second prayer session for a more comfortable experience.
The second and third prayer sessions are generally less crowded and may be particularly suitable for families with young children, elderly congregants, and those who require easier access to mosque facilities.
An additional 20,300 prayer spaces will be available at up to 44 supplementary venues, an increase of almost 10% from last year. These supplementary venues will cater to elderly congregants and those with mobility needs, providing convenient access to prayer spaces closer to their homes.
Accessing prayer information
The community can access the latest information on Hari Raya Haji prayer arrangements, including prayer timings, Muslimah spaces and khutbah languages, at go.gov.sg/rayaprayer (mosques) and go.gov.sg/rayaprayersupp (supplementary venues). Congregants can also visit maps.gov.sg/raya-prayer to find convenient prayer venues.
Community responsibility
MUIS seeks the community’s support to remain socially responsible during the blessed occasion. Congregants are encouraged to show kindness and patience to mosque staff and volunteers who are supporting prayer operations across Singapore.
Those driving are encouraged to car-pool and to park responsibly at designated car parks. Illegal parking may obstruct emergency vehicles and cause inconvenience to residents in surrounding neighbourhoods. As we commemorate the spirit of sacrifice and compassion embodied by Hari Raya Aidiladha, let us foster a gracious and considerate environment for one another.
