Prayer arrangement for Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer 2026/1447H
13 March 2026
Enhanced prayer capacity with almost 30% more prayer spaces at supplementary venues.
Muslims in Singapore will observe Hari Raya Aidilfitri next week. To accommodate growing demand for prayer spaces for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayers, the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), together with mosques, have taken comprehensive steps to provide sufficient prayer spaces for the community.
Comprehensive prayer arrangements across Singapore
Mosques will provide approximately 240,000 prayer spaces across up to three prayer sessions, including dedicated spaces for female congregants. Booking is not required, except for Session 1 at Masjid Darul Ghufran, where congregants can book their places via book.masjids.sg from Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 10.00 am.
An additional 24,000 prayer spaces will be available at up to 49 supplementary venues1, an increase of almost 30% from last year. These supplementary venues will cater to elderly congregants and those with mobility needs, providing convenient access to prayer spaces closer to their homes.
MUIS encourages all congregants with flexibility to opt for the second or third session or perform their prayers at less crowded mosques. This ensures all congregants are able to perform their prayers comfortably.
Accessing prayer information
The community can access the latest details on Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer arrangements, including Muslimah spaces and khutbah languages, at go.gov.sg/rayaprayer (mosques) and go.gov.sg/rayaprayersupp (supplementary venues). Congregants can also visit maps.gov.sg/raya-prayer to find convenient prayer venues.
Community responsibility
MUIS seeks the community's support to remain socially responsible during the blessed occasion. Congregants are encouraged to show kindness to mosque staff and volunteers, and those driving are encouraged to car-pool and park considerately to minimise inconvenience to residents. As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us strengthen our community bonds and share the blessings of Hari Raya Aidilfitri with our neighbours, embodying the true spirit of this blessed celebration.
