Clarification on misinformation regarding exhumation of graves

Did you receive a WhatsApp message to go to Muslim Cemetery Exhumation Office? This is untrue. The claim registration for the Phase 10 exhumation has closed on 9 June 2026.

We are aware of a WhatsApp message circulating about exhumation works at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery.

The message wrongly asks next-of-kin to visit the Muslim Cemetery Executive Office to register or make a claim. We understand that messages like this can be worrying and some members of the public have since come down to the office.

The claim registration period for the current Phase 10 exercise has ended.

Please refrain from forwarding the message.
