Islamic Legacy Planning Village
For Family. For Community. For the Hereafter.
About Islamic Legacy Planning Village (ILPV)
Your family. Your legacy. Your amanah.
What does it mean to plan for the people you love, even after you have passed on?
Islamic Legacy Planning Village (ILPV) brings together Singaporean Muslims and their families for a day of learning, expert guidance and hands-on action on Islamic legacy planning.
Whether you are just starting to think about your legacy or looking to complete what you have already begun, discover how Islamic principles and Singapore's legal framework can work together to protect your family and honour your responsibilities as a Muslim.
In 2025, over 1,300 participants came together at Singapore Expo to take meaningful steps towards securing their amanah (responsibility) for family and community. This year, we go further.
ILPV 2026 moves beyond awareness to action.

Who should attend?
ILPV 2026 is open to all Singaporean Muslims and their families.
The event welcomes:
Individuals and families at any stage of their Islamic legacy planning journey
Those with complex family or asset situations seeking personalised guidance

About Community Forum: Dari Harta Puaka ke Harta Pusaka: Turning Inheritance Curse to Family Legacy
A family secret, a verbal wish and an unexpected heir are enough to turn an estate into a source of confusion and conflict. Inspired by the Mediacorp microdrama Remuk: Yang Tinggal, this forum examines how silence, assumptions and incomplete planning can burden the very family we hope to protect.
Through selected scenes, relatable discussion and practical guidance, religious and legal experts will explain what families should discuss, document and review before a crisis occurs.
Session will be conducted in Malay, with English used on presentation slides and in Q&A.
Speakers:
Ustaz Dr Firdaus Yahya, Director, Syariah Consultancy, Education and Training
Mdm Zahara Bakar Partner, Tan Rajah & Cheah
Moderated by Shenty Feliziana, Host and TV personality
A registration fee of $10 applies. All proceeds go to Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura.
Look forward to understand:
Why verbal wishes alone are not enough, and what puts your intentions on record
Which of your assets fall inside and outside your estate
How careful planning can preserve rights, reduce disputes and leave a legacy of clarity and care
How to extend your legacy beyond your family through sadaqah jaariyah
