Support Islamic Legacy Planning Ecosystem
Play a part in strengthening Islamic Legacy Planning through volunteering and professional service.
Become an Islamic Legacy Planning Advocate
Help start conversations about planning ahead, for ourselves, our families and future generations.
MUIS invites interested individuals to register as an Islamic Legacy Planning (ILP) Advocate and play a meaningful role in raising awareness and encouraging the community to take the first steps in planning their legacy.
As an ILP Advocate, you can:
Promote understanding and awareness of Islamic legacy planning within your personal and community networks
Encourage individuals to take the first steps towards planning their legacy
Share basic information and educational resources
Direct individuals to relevant programmes, services, resources and events
Refer complex matters to ILP Ambassadors or qualified professionals when needed
ILP Advocates play an educational and community-focused role. Advocates do not provide religious, legal or financial advice, or represent MUIS in an official capacity.
How do I become an ILP Advocate?
Register your interest (opens in new tab) and complete the Level 1 Basic Islamic Legacy Planning Masterclass.
Upon completion, you will:
Be recognised as an ILP Advocate
Receive a Certificate of Participation for completing the Level 1 Basic ILP Masterclass
Have opportunities to support selected MUIS and ILP-related events and volunteer initiatives
ILP Advocates who wish to deepen their knowledge and take on a more active outreach role may subsequently progress to the Level 2 Advanced ILP Masterclass, as part of the pathway towards becoming an ILP Ambassador.

As an advocate, you can promote understanding and awareness of Islamic legacy planning within your personal and community networks
