Singapore Halal Certification process
The Singapore Halal Certification process includes preparation, application, processing, certification, post-certification inspections, and renewal.

Step 1: Enquiries / Preparation
Read and familiarise yourself with Halal Certification Conditions (HCC)
Pass the Halal Competency Assessment (HCA)
Step 2: Application
Halal certification application processing times:

*Processing time starts upon receipt of complete and accurate documentation. It excludes applicant response time and assumes companies are audit-ready upon submission.
Step 3: Processing
Undergo document verification
Participate in audits / inspections
Step 4: Certification
Receive Halal Certificate (Valid for 1 or 2 years)
Step 5: Post-Certification
Undergo unannounced inspections
Update information such as menu, ingredients and contact information via E-Service portal as needed
Step 6: Renewal
Renewal application automatically submitted 120 days before expiry date
