Planned Giving

Planned giving is managing your assets that will be left behind upon your demise.

There are various forms of planned giving. The most common is to create a will. A person can give away up to one third of his assets to beneficiaries other than inheritors according to faraidh. One can create a wakaf from that portion, or donate to beneficiaries such as self-help groups, mosques and madrasahs.

You may wish also wish to make a nomination on your insurance proceeds or CPF to a person or organisation through the nomination form.
