Executive Leadership Programme for Religious Leaders

The Executive Leadership Programme for Religious Leaders (also known as the Advance Asatizah Executive Leadership Programme, AAEDP) programme seeks to train key religious leaders to understand strategic approaches to religious thinking in the context of Singapore by way of presenting case studies and discussing emerging issues that have impact on the religious life of the Muslim community.

Participants will also be exposed to the intricacies of governing the complex, modern state of Singapore. The 3-day executive programme will cover the following:

  1. Religion in Industrial Society
  2. Religion and Diversity
  3. Emerging Issues in a Changing Socio-Religious Landscape
  4. Singapore’s Principles of Governance and Policy Development Process
  5. Public Policy Considerations in Religious Thinking
  6. Learning Journey to national agencies

The learning approaches to this programme will comprise of seminars, briefings and Q&A sessions, along with learning journeys and sharing from the respective ministry agencies. Facilitated reflection sessions with senior asatizahs will also be included in the programme.
