Love that Shapes Humanity

  • If we were to study every surah in the noble Quran, we will find that every surah begins with Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim or Basmalah, except in surah At-Taubah. It means: “In the Name of Allah The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful”.
  • According to several scholars of tafsir, Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim are chosen to explain the traits of Allah in Basmalah because these are the two most dominant traits of Allah. The love that a human can offer is in no way comparable to the greatness of the love that Allah s.w.t. has towards His creations. This is because His love towards us is limitless.
  • Just think of all the blessings that Allah has showered upon us – knowledge, a career, family, peace and tranquillity. Subhanallah! Indeed, His blessings are endless, and truly, one does not feel deserving of these blessings.
