Appreciating the Wisdom Behind Rasulullah’s Decision

  • The faith of a believer is not complete if he does not love the Prophet s.a.w. more than his parents, his children, his grandchildren, and even himself. Loving the Prophet s.a.w. is a religious obligation. For Muslims, it is a prerequisite to attain Allah’s love. And our love for the Prophet s.a.w. must be proven with the right attitude, and by emulating him and enlivening his teachings.

  • In our efforts to comprehend what it means to emulate Rasulullah s.a.w., we would soon come to realise that there are acts which the Prophet s.a.w. did not practice, or in other words acts that he left out. How then, should we view the practices that were not carried out by Rasulullah s.a.w.?
