Gratitude that Cultivates the Spirit of Humanity

  • In the midst of managing the hectic demands of daily life - regardless of our roles as a student, a teacher, an engineer, or businessman - let us remind ourselves that each of our achievements is in fact, a grace from God. According to our scholars, gratefulness or syukur must first be nurtured in our hearts and manifested by our tongues and the entirety of our body.

  • Thus, in our efforts to express gratitude through our deeds and actions, we must realize that such matters are not limited to acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, pilgrimage and the likes. Surely the true definition of good deeds extends further beyond this limitation.
